Orneon, the developer of Agency of Anomalies series and Echoes of the Past series has brought us a new sequel HOPA game, Secrets of the Dark: Eclipse Mountain. The gameplay of this game is basically nothing new, except you can turn  the lights on and off to explore new locations, we found it quite interesting as well as confusing! The story sets in Thailand, which is at least something new in the game, normally if the game is set in Asian countries, it would be Japan, India or China but not Thailand, except from the beautiful environment in Thailand, Orneon also includes several Thai's culture, arts and architecture as well. The story starts off pretty well, with fine cut scenes however, it's not hooking and it falls flat after a while. Apart from those two flaws, there is nothing much to complain. Graphics are amazing, music are actually one of the best we've heard. HOG scenes are fun, puzzles are not totally unique but also includes some new elements and they're all entertaining although sometimes you have to play the same puzzle several times which you might feel a little bit of repetition. This game is surely worth the CE price, because it has a very long main gameplay and even a very long Bonus Chapter which can rarely be seen in CE games lately. In the surprisingly long Bonus Chapter, you get to visit new places and also revisit old places, and it's as good as the main game! Secrets of the Dark 2 might not bring us anything new, but after all it's still a very great game and surely it is worth the CE price.
