Witch Hunters: Stolen Beauty is from Top Evidence Studios, the people behind the popular Haunted Manor series. Haunted Manor games were pretty good, unfortunately, Witch Hunters isn't that appealing! Let's start with the goods first, artwork is brilliantly done, very detailed while graphics are crisp and clean which make items in HOG scenes easy to find. On the way to stop the evil witch, you will get to help several torment souls and in return, they will give you special abilities which you can use them to complete many tasks as you play along, an interesting addition although not new. Hint recharges nearly immediately after use and skip button also recharges fast, so thanks the developers for that! On the other hand, this game is utterly boring. Even though artwork is really nice, it feels very familiar. If you've played Haunted Manor: Queen of Death before you will know what we're talking about, this game seems like a remake of Queen of Death with different storyline and few changes, locations are very similar to the ones in Queen of Death from the color scheme to the appearance itself. For the music, it doesn't seem to suit the game, the music is a bit too upbeat for this kind of creepy atmosphere and the constant background noises are really irritating indeed! Also, there're no voice overs, just plain dialogues for you to read. Okay, so what makes the game boring are that there're tons of back and forth walking in this game, and there's not useful helpers such as map or a diary to keep track of things happened! Moreover, the gameplay feels very slow-paced, some animations take very long time to finish and the grey-colored locations look a bit dull. Luckily, Witch Hunters at least give us a satisfying ending (it actually depends from which angel you're looking at) and the Bonus Chapter is surprising good compared to the main game! Other extras are Strategy Guide, Wallpapers and Concept Art. Witch Hunter is a very average game which shouldn't be classified as a Collector's Edition. It has nothing interesting to offer us except from its gorgeous artwork, anyhow, we recommend you to try it yourself before make decisions!
